All–Day Tiger Temple, River Kwai And War Museum - B26
Private tour: Every day.
Seat-in-coach tour: Every day, minimum 4 persons.
The highlight of this full-day excursion is a visit to the remote forest temple of Wat Pha Luangtabua, some 160 kms from Bangkok. In these beautiful surroundings, dedicated Buddhist monks live with numerous wild animals including ten tigers, which they take for a walk on a leash every afternoon. This is one of the most extraordinary sights you will ever see in Thailand, and is probably unique in the world. In such proximity to the tigers, all visitors must exercise caution, and never act in any way that might disturb or frighten the beasts.
In the morning, the tour visits the famous "Bridge on the River Kwai" and the newly-opened War Museum, which has a number of fascinating exhibits. Lunch is provided at a restaurant close to the bridge.
To all tour participants !!!!
Just as with a visit to a game reserve where wild animals are not caged, the tour to the forest temple carries a small amount of risk. To ensure maximum safety, all participants must fully comply with all instructions given by the tour guide or the monks. World Travel Service accepts no responsibility for any accident or injury.
Tour participants will be picked up at hotels and sent back to hotels after the tour. Those staying at hotels near the airport are required to make own way to join the tour at a hotel in the central area such as the Indra Regent Hotel.
