Michele (Michael) Perrone has strong and deep roots in the Italian culture. Born between the idyllic Amalfi Coast and majestic Apennine mountains, Michael has spent most of his life travelling within Italy and Europe and with the Italian Travel Bureau he has devoted the last 20 years to sharing his passion and knowledge for "LA Bella Italia" with travellers and friend alike!!

A Few Facts About Italy
Currency €
The Euro is the currency of Italy. (ATM machines are used widely throughout).
Visa
Australian passport holders do not require a visa for stays up to 3 months. Registering with the police within 3 days of a tourist’s arrival in Italy is attended to by the hotels one stays with.
Driving
Driving is on the right hand side of the road (opposite to Australia) and an International drivers licence is compulsory.
Language
Italian is the official language of Italy. English is widely spoken in main cities.
